What's next?

Episode 3.

Episode 3: Artsy night

Tobias had been thinking about this moment all day. Right before heading home from the game store, Spencer had offered him a job as a photographer. Well, the job had been pushed into his hands before he was - almost literally - shoved out of the shop. Sure, Tobias could ignore the offer. He had expected himself to ignore it, but there he was. Standing in front of the old bakery in the outskirts of the town, right after having dinner at home. He could see some flashing lights coming from one of the windows like there was a party going on in there, which was weird. This whole situation was weird, but Spencer had just set him up with the location. He was just a middle man who wanted to get rid of his deal, and so he got a shy amateur photographer who was too shy to refuse.

He had to admit, he wanted to see the blonde from the store again. He never managed to get her name so he had been calling her Gwen when thinking about her, but he did know that she was the most upset about the failed photoshoot at the store. As far as Tobias managed to pick up, they had been stood up by their photographer for the entire afternoon. It was a shitty thing to do, but Spencer had managed to find a replacement - Tobias. A guy who had never done a photoshoot before, but he had been assured that it wasn't anything professional anyhow. They had lost a lot of money too with renting the video store, which was mostly why Spencer felt bad and reached out to Tobias. Anything would be good enough to display their cosplays.

Tobias didn't think he had many hidden talents, but well... Maybe this could be one of them!

He was feeling quite nervous. Looking down at himself, he had to admit he was looking quite nice. Dressed in a light blue shirt and some clean black slacks, it was better than his usual hoodies and jeans. He wondered if Gwen would even remember him but he hoped he could at least make a decent impression now. With shaky hands, he knocked on the front door of this old building. There was no doorbell, so he hoped the knocking would be enough to alert someone inside...

Seconds later, the door swung open.

As usual, he wasn't prepared to be greeted by a beautiful woman. Her short hair reminded him of Gwen in a way, but it was very colorful. He actually really liked that, along with the heavy eyeliner and the three piercings in each of her ears. She was covered in tattoos, shown off due to the skimpy top that really revealed plenty of her bust as well. It was quite a distracting sight, but Tobias tried his best to keep looking at her gorgeous face.

"What's up?" She was the first one to speak up as Tobias tried not to stumble over his own words.

"I.. Eh.." He wasn't even sure why he was there. He didn't know anyone in this city, but there he was - letting himself get lurked into abandoned bakeries.

"Oh! You're the photographer?" She asked. She must've seen the distressed look on his face, not expecting her to know. "You're carrying a camera," She added as her red lips curled into a smirk, gesturing to his neck. He was indeed carrying a camera around his neck, letting it hang loosely. Tobias's cheeks burned up as he blushed heavily, having totally forgotten about it but then he quickly nodded.

"Cool. I'm Emma, welcome to the Bakery!" She turned around and gestured Tobias to follow. There was no way back now as he followed her inside of the old building. This place looked like the main shop where they used to sell the bread and pastries, but it was very dusty and abandoned. Clearly not used anymore, but when he followed her further inside, the rest of the building turned out to be completely different. Following Emma, he walked into a large room where he assumed the ovens and what not used to be. It had been decorated completely differently, and there were more people inside than he would've imagined. In a corner, a few people were hanging around in couches. He could see smoke clouds coming from them as they passed something around, so it wasn't very hard to realize what they were doing. Tobias had actually never tried weed or something similar before, but they seemed to have a good time. They definitely looked very relaxed.

His head turned to the other side of the room. His mouth almost fell open wide as he froze in place. There he was, a very handsome and more importantly hung man was sitting on a cushion in the middle of the room. He was completely naked and surrounded by some other people. Artists, all of them. There were some people painting him on an easel while others were simply drawing in sketchbooks. Nearby, there were some unoccupied instruments standing around. There were posters hanging all over the walls. He wasn't sure what this place was, but it was something else for sure. Lots of creative spirits around. It seemed to be some kind of communal building where a lot of people came together to hang out and party together. Not really his usual scene, but he was intrigued.

"Well, Caroline's upstairs, if you want to get to it," Tobias heard Emma grinning, and realized he must've been staring at the display.

Caroline? That must be Gwen's actual name. Tobias took a deep breath as he looked away from the naked man. He had to admit, the display had brought out something for a second. It wasn't the first time that he felt attracted to another man before, but it had never been this intensely. He was a very attractive person after all, and if Tobias was comfortable about one part of himself, it was about his bisexuality...

Ignore the blush...
