Chapter 9 by CrissyBGFY CrissyBGFY

What does Crissy do?

Enters with convidence.

Crissy breathed deeply, and strode forward pushing open the double doors. There, facing towards the door was a grand dark-wood desk and sitting at it was an older, heavy set man who could with out a doubt be..

"Mr. Kinkade, it's such a pleasure to meet you in person. It's really far to kind of you to invite me to a meeting. I'm afraid that such a thing might be way above my pay grade," Crissy said in a happy, more over the top feminine voice than her normal one.

Now closer, Crissy could see that Mr. Kinkade was indeed in his late 50's. His black hair was still mostly there, but greying on the sides. His suit did seem to have a little trouble with his belly, but it seemed to weirdly suit him. He stood maybe 5'10' and probably weighed a good 240 lbs.

"Yes, Miss. Doland is in indeed above your pay-grade but none the less I wanted to meet you after hearing about your teams excellent work," spoke Mr. Kinkade in a deep yet cool voice. He strode around the desk and held out his hand, shaking Crissy's very softly. "NOW, how do you like my view huh? Excellent, you can see most of Boston from here!"

"It's an amazing view! Definitely better than the one I currently have from my office," Crissy said in earnest. Mr. Kinkade's office was almost 75% windows. He certainly had the best view in the entire building.

"Well, with that settled, lets get down to business. I did indeed, call you up here to congratulate you and your team, who might I just say should find a very nice bonus attached to their next paycheck. But I also called you up here to see if I could make you an offer."

Crissy gulped, "What kind of an offer Mr. Kinkade?!" Crissy asked with an added air of surprise.

"Well the kind that gives you a very large raise to be honest. I recently had to...let go of my personal secretary and have found life to be quite hard with out her assistance. When I heard about your achievements and your work ethic I thought about how nice it would be to have someone like you work directly for me. Made me think how organized my life could become. Well, how about it Miss. Doland, would you like to work as my personal secretary, I promise it doesn't sound as boring as it is."

Does Crissy Accept?
