Endure

The sword was in sight, and Gin's resolve remained intact. Her hand reached for the blade and wasted no time in unstheathing it.

Gin made short work of the tentacles coiling around her, dispatching them with ease. More followed, but she was ready, leapong backwards in tandem with several precision strikes, leaving flailing severed stumps spouting pink slime in her wake.

"Oh, you go girl," Belial announced. The milk was finally wiped from her eyes, letting her witness Gin's attempted escape.

It didn't end up going to plan, for a few moments later Gin was sent flying through the window of the Happy Cow. Glass and tentacles flew through the air around her, but she nonetheless managaed to land on her feet, swinging the katana around in an arc to dice the tendrils that descended upon her.

Gin didn't have time for this, she had to get back to Ashley and Ligeia. Through the crack in the window, she saw Belial glaring out. Again she waved, but Gin had better things to do.

The others weren't safe, she had to get back to them immediately.
