Ending: Bill Destroys the Raygun

Bill took the ray gun into his hand. The only device capable of turning Scarlett back into his father. While every stared in shock, Bill threw it to the ground and stomped on it till it fizzled with electricity.

“Oh, Bill!” Scarlett said, kissing him passionately on the lips.

“I could never lose you,” Bill said looking deep into her eyes. His arm wrapped around her gown’s bodice.

“Now,” Georgia said clapping her hands, “There is a lot we need to get done to make sure Scarlett is settled into her new life.”

Bill nodded, “I’ll take care of the technical details...”

It took about a week, but soon Steven had died and Scarlett was born. Steven was reported as having died in a hit and run. The police had reports that detailed their conclusion that no foul play had taken place and the insurance company paid Georgia the life insurance money.

Scarlett had her entire life rewritten. Her parents were dead and she had lived with Georgia since that happened a year ago. Because she moved Georgia was able to home school her through high school and helped her graduate. The necessary certifications were all there. Bill made sure that she was accepted to his college.

Georgia started dating again. Bill and Scarlett were inseparable all summer. And when college would start Bill and Scarlett would be making love all they wanted.
