Elven whine

More then 300 years ago, the ruler of this lands started to improve diplomatic relationships with the elves. Nobody really liked the elves back then, because of their arrogance or just because they are not human. Meanwhile the elfes are officially allies of the king but still behave like something better. There is often trouble and during your time among the guards you often had to clear arguments between elven travelers and townspeople. But over the last centuries often elves crossed this lands anf a few even moved in the town or the villages. more or less accepted by their nighbours they learned to live among humans and helped establish better relationships between the two races.

When your family was ordered to save the border against the orcs and got this lands to rule over, your grandfather kept up the peace with the elfes and allowed them to travel through the woods and fields as long as they don't bother any humans or dwarfs. And so it came that a elven tribesetled down in the large forest close to the cirty. As a present, the leader of the tribe sent your father a basked with magic cookies and elven whine. There were three bottles once but one was emptied at the last visit of the king few years ago. And since your father hid the bottles from your brother, they are still there. You know where they are but you respected your fathers orders to not touch them.

Humans think different about elven whine. Because the elves very rarely sell them it is little known about it. A human poet once said, one sip is likt the taste of every summer from the last 100 years. A noble also claimed, that after drinking one glass of elven whine, he was able to talk to his dead wife at night. However, among the townspeople and pesants is the rumor, drinking elven whine makes you more arrogant with every sip. Sadly you never meet one who has ever proved the opposite.

Nobody knows anything for sure, except that elven whine is the most delicious drink in the known universe. Giving Keylara one of the bottles could indeed make her very happy and maybe more freindly towards you. The question is, do you want that?
