I decided to let the game decide my fate, so I clicked the randomizer button. The screen flickered, and the wireframe model began to morph rapidly, shifting through various forms, genders, and races. Colors swirled around it, and numbers flashed on the measurement bars as the model began to shift again, this time settling into a sleek, agile form. The name "Elaria" appeared, and the class was listed as a Ranger. The avatar was female, with elongated ears and porcelain skin, clearly an elf. Her hair was a wild tangle of silver locks, and her eyes gleamed with a piercing emerald light.

I was amazed at the realism of the created avatar. She was gorgeous. Her body was toned and muscular, yet with obvious feminine curves. It was the body of someone who was active and ate right. Her body was not that of the typical female often seen in games like this, with their porn star sized breasts and butts. Her breasts were probably B or maybe C cup, her waist was narrow and her hips wide. Her legs and arms had the kind of muscle tone typical of a woman who spent her life hunting, foraging, scouting, hiking, mountain climbing, etc. Her face was beautifully exotic. Full lips, large emerald, green eyes, Elvin ears and long, silver hair.

As I stared at the avatar in amazement, suddenly I noticed a countdown. I had to either accept this avatar or go back and try again. I hadn't even had a chance to look at her stats yet, and I wasn't sure I wanted to play a female character, but the timer was counting down quickly, and I had to make a choice. I quickly began scanning the stats as I considered my choices. Her stats included mostly what you would expect; scouting, map reading and land navigation, archery, hunting, foraging, and camouflage. She also had some stats that seemed strange; allure, seduction, empath, and dancing.

As I read through the stats, I decided I would try again and hope for a better outcome. I just didn't think I wanted to be a woman, and especially not a woman skilled in allure and seduction.
