A-anyway, we kept our ears up, especially Eddie, who seemed really into the whole amateur spy thing, and kept to bushes and other hiding places. I guess I can't really judge him for enjoying this. It is kind of a thrill. Hell, a rush! I was risking everything, my education, my future, and betting it all on my wits and ability to stay scarce. One wrong move, and it was all over. Well, not ALL over, of course. Not like I'd be executed for this or anything, but the punishment would still be very bad. I felt myself grinning as the butterflies started reproducing in my stomach.

"You alright?" Eddie's voice startled me a little, but it was also slightly calming to my anxiety.

"Yeah, why?"

"You're walking like you're excited. Or really scared. Heh. Or like you need to stop and visit the little girl's room."

"I'm fine," I told him succinctly. "And I'm not a little girl."

"I know, I just didn't want to say bathroom if there aren't baths in it and restroom sounds too uptight. I don't wanna be all stick-up-my-butt in front of you."

"Oh?"

"Sure. You're my little sister, why shouldn't I relax around you?"

"You could be a little watchful of what you say. I'm a woman too."

"uh..."

"Anyway, we're almost there. C'mon." I sounded so...weird. Like him calling me just his sister was insulting somehow. I wish I could say that wasn't like me, but honestly, it is. For some reason, that Eddie saw me only as his little sister really bothers me. Not that I want him to think of me as his possible fuck-toy or anything like that, of course! But he could acknowledge me as a female once in a while.
