How is decided who get's to be a little?
Economic Incentive Program
By the year 2045, the world faced another pressing crisis beyond the eerie stillness of time—economic disparity. As traditional systems struggled to function in a world without generational renewal, the gap between the wealthy and the impoverished grew insurmountably vast. Jobs became stagnant, wages froze, and without younger generations to inherit, economies ground to a slow and painful standstill. Entire populations found themselves trapped in poverty, unable to climb the social ladder in a world where the elite had hoarded wealth for decades.
In response to both the economic crisis and the deep yearning for childhood experiences, an unprecedented solution arose: The Economic Incentive Program for Regression and Adoption (EIPRA). Under this initiative, adults who chose to become "littles"—opting for a childhood experience under the care of a financially stable caregiver—were compensated. But the benefits extended beyond just the individual; their biological families also received financial relief, lifting them from destitution and offering a rare chance at upward mobility.
How It Worked
Voluntary Regression & Adoption: Any adult could apply to the program, expressing their willingness to experience regression under the care of an approved guardian. These guardians were typically wealthy individuals or families seeking to embrace the caregiver role.
Financial Security for the Little's Family: Once accepted, the "little" and their biological family were granted a substantial stipend for the duration of their regression. This ensured that families, often struggling to survive, were given a pathway to stability.
Tiered Regression System: Littles could choose different levels of regression, from full infancy (diapers, bottle feeding, and complete dependence) to a more independent toddler or early-childhood experience. The deeper the regression level, the higher the financial compensation.
