As I took my place at the kitchen table awaiting mom and dad’s return, I flashed back to a moment ago when mom said that she loved my new smell, and I started getting hard but just then mom and dad came into the kitchen and dad sat down while mom took our plates and served us breakfast, dad was watching me and finally said “ Son .. you know I will be gone today for a little while and I was hoping that you could help out your mom while I am gone “.
I quickly look at dad and said “ of course father.. anything mom needs me for, I will be there for her… whatever she needs father “.
Dad looked to mom and smiled and told mom “ see honey, our son will take great care of you honey, just tell him what you need hep with and he will do it for you… right son ?” As dad looked over at me again, causing me to say again “ Anything Mom needs , she has it from me dad “.
Mom looks at me with a smile and said “ I will be working around the house today and may need you for something “ and she just smiled at me.
