Eating!

Jade looked around. There’s no way Jason wasn’t here. He managed to catch Jade off-guard every time she was talking, so there’s no way he was doing it randomly. He had to be here somewhere, to observe her reactions and judge precisely when to activate the vibrator.

Yet, try as she might, she couldn’t spot the jock anywhere. Usually, it wasn’t hard to pick out Jason from the crowd, what with him being a tall, bulky athlete with a natural air of confidence around him. Those weren’t traits you couldn’t just hide by wearing different clothes or acting differently.

Maybe he really was just super lucky. Jade shrugged in defeat. Well, hopefully she can enjoy her meal in peace.

Mike had the vague sense that something was off with Jade today. Not that she looked any less radiant or beautiful than she usually did, mind you. In fact, the Jade today was one of the prettiest that he’d ever seen. Still, though...

Often, while she was talking, she would gasp in the middle of her sentence, giving cute, high-pitched squeals at random intervals. These were some strange hiccups she was having...

When the food arrived, the hiccups didn’t stop. As she brought her spoonful of soup to her mouth, she gasped again, nearly spilling the soup on herself. She would do it again when she used her fork to pierce her food, stabbing her steak with more **** than what was necessary.

Fortunately, the hiccups didn’t come when she was handling the knife. It was as if the hiccups had a mind of their own, stopping of their own accord when hiccuping would be dangerous.

It really was a strange coincidence, Mike thought.

Once they’d finished their food, they started to walk around aimlessly again. Though the hiccups didn’t stop, Jade seemed to have better control over them now, so that should be a good sign, Mike concluded.

The truth of the matter was that Jade was starting to adapt to the vibrations. She cherished this small victory she claimed over the (absent?) jock. Still, the vibrator was a hindrance. Was there any way she could stop this?
