Eat it

"What are you looking at?" Ashley asks, walking over to you.

"Some red pill that was apparently just found," you reply, carefully opening the glass container and plucking out the red pill.

"Woah, careful, we don't know what that is!" Ashley exclaims as you examine the pill.

"I don't think its dangerous, just some rock that a geologist found, and wasn't sure about," you reply, as you bring it to your nose and give it a quick sniff. Somehow, the pill smells amazing, and you can suddenly feel your mouth start to water. "I'm going to eat it and see what happens," you grin, and pop the pill into your mouth, swallowing it.

Ashley gasps and brings her hands to her mouth, "What if that was poisonous?"

"Well, then I'm screwed," you smile, doubtful that the red pill is anything more than some oddly colored, pill-shaped prehistoric dirt.

"I sure hope so," Ashley says, eyeing you cautiously. Suddenly you hear footsteps from the hallway, and you and Ashley look at each other before scrambling to hide behind a desk.

You hear the door creak open, and a voice calls out, "Hello? Is anyone here?"
