Eat a rare steak

You’re looking over all the options, when you suddenly hear your stomach rumble. You blush. Clearly, all the exercise has got you hungry. Deciding to take care of that while also finishing a Task, you decide to satisfy your hunger with a steak. The thing is, even as weirdly energized as you’re feeling, you’re still coming off of a work-out, so heading to the store to get the stuff to cook a steak sounds like a bit much.

But this is a college city, and you have other options. It’s almost noon, so as you pull up a delivery app, you see there are several places nearby that would be able to help. In the end you decide to splurge a little and get an 8oz steak from 7th Street Steakhouse.

You spend the time waiting for the food to arrive putting your dumbbells away and changing out of your workout clothes, which are by now quite sweaty. You don’t pack either of them away again, though. Getting back into fitness has actually been pretty sweet, so you’re not about to go another half a year without using these things.

The food comes when you’re splayed out on your bed, scrolling through social media, feeling more bored than you usually do. Now you’re dressed in casual clothes, though they feel weirdly tight in some areas and loose in others. The guy hands you the food in a styrofoam container, and leaves without a word.

Soon you’ve got your steak on a plat, knife and fork in hand, and you’re ready to chow down. The steak is pretty damn good, definitely worth the money. Seasoned well, but not too much, and you think they used some butter when they cooked it. It’s also really rare. Normally, you’ve always preferred red meat medium to well done, when you had it at all. But now you’re wondering why. The juice is almost the best part, and when you’re done, you wish you’d ordered a larger steak. Almost without thinking, you let out a weirdly satisfying burp, then click on your phone that you ate the steak.

You don’t really know anyone. Uninstalling the app might help...or it could stop you from ever being able to change back. Perhaps using the app, taking Tasks that push you more towards Femininity again, would work.
