The eastern coast of the United states is both a land of great opportunity and great danger, there are no wide reaching superpowers that patrol thier lands and life here is difficult as Raiders and mutants haunt the scattered towns and villages of the capital wasteland.

For the adventurous or merely the morally loose great riches can be made by scavenging ruins and accessing the many bunkers and vaults in the DC area or simply killing the poor bastard who did all the hard work and taking his things.
