Dropping the kids off.

Peter and Sandy walked hand in hand with their kids up the path to his parents house. Sally and Jim appeared to have been waiting for them as before Peter could put the key in the door it opened to reveal Sally in a robe. "Peter, Sandy, do you have time for a cup of coffee before you go?"

Peter shook his head as their kids ran into the house, straight for the games room his father had set up for them, "It sounds good, Mom, but Sandy's on the edge as it is. Wouldn't want to see how she acts with coffee in her system." This of course earned him a slap on the arm from his wife.

"Excited to go and visit Kate and Bryan huh?" Sally asked Sandy with a knowing smile. She wasn't sure how she'd react if she had had to wait long periods between Veevee visits.

Sandy nodded, "Extremely. I mean...as much as I love when you have your parties and all...I miss Kate and Bryan terribly. I mean imagine if Hank and Veevee lived halfway across the country."

"I'd rather not, thank you very much." Sally answered, even though she was imagining it. "I think I'd go insane. Well, don't let me keep you. Say hello for me and Jim."

"Of course!" Sandy said, as though she would have even if she hadn't been told to. Which she would have. Hell, even though Hank and Veevee weren't here she'd say they said hello!

After the requisite hugs and kisses Peter and Sandy left, their kids already into some new game Jim had picked up for them.
