Driving back to the show

You left all three the hotel room, and got to the SUV.

As expected, the queue of people going to attend the fashion show completely congested the street around the Grand Palais.

Being stuck in traffic wasn't so bad this time, since you were texting Adriana because she was ready backstage again, with even bigger nerves due to the adrenaline rush of the first show already gone.

The second was the big one, you couldn't screw it in front of hundreds of celebrities, there was a limit to what the company could edit late with the first tape for the tv special.

And for her it was also very personal, being this runway the result of months of hard work and sacrifices, and she wanted to be at her best for her family too.

Finally you made it, the driver could briefly park in front of the entrance and let us out: Adriana's cousin wasn't used to wearing heels and she almost fell from the SUV, luckily you managed to grab her arm before it was too late.

The security was even tighter than during the day, police everywhere, but with your badge you got in quickly.

Just after the entrance check-in the VS team built an improvised red carpet, well pink if you stay true to its colour, where the celebrities attending the show could be photographed and interviewed by the crowd of cameras on the other side.

Common mortals like you could just quickly slide in behind the famous people. After the stairs (again, why her cousin put high heels on if she couldn't walk in them, like, at all?!) you reached the huge stands, already filled by at least a quarter.

The front rows, almost at the same height level of the runway, were reserved to celebrities again, you spotted Doutzen with her husband there.

Your seats were around the middle of the left side of the main runway entrance, and even if they were higher and farther the view wasn't that bad.

People kept coming and soon the place was full. You got a text from Adriana, she wrote they were ready to start soon, and asked where to look to see us when it was her turn to walk.

A few minutes later, a speaker told everybody to sat down at their assigned places because the show was going to start.
