Dr. Thibodeau returns.

"Iceland, what are you doing?"

The perky co-ed whirled around, spotting her more analytically-minded cousin at the doorway leading from the waiting room to the medical offices.

"Oh, hi, cuz! Just saying hi to this guy! He's awfully quiet, though." She huffed, crossing her arms and pouting.

"Iceland step away from him," Dr. Thibodea ordered. Her voice was commanding, the kind of tone that let her free-minded cousin know that this was serious.

Iceland actually frowned. "Why, is he dangerous?"

"No, you're dangerous to him." What.

Dr. Thibodeau turned to the young man, still up against the wall like he was afraid of what the barely-dressed girl might to do him. It was only stepping between them that caused him to break his gaze. "Yuri, it's okay. Don't mind her. She's just an intern. You're here for you appointment right?" Iceland's jaw dropped, shocked that her normally professional cousin was using a warm tone that she didn't even reserve for her family members! "You did good, Yuri. You're right on time and I'm ready for you. C'mon in and I'll get you ready for your weekly session. You okay?"

The young man just nodded, a simple "Mh," escaping his throat. As he slipped his hands into his pockets, Iceland could see that even they were as covered as the rest of him, this time in a pair of thin black fingerless gloves. It was almost like she didn't exist as he walked to the offices with Dr. Thibodeau at a respectful distance carefully besides (not ahead or behind) him.

It was just as the door was closing that Iceland noticed a slip of paper on the floor. Huh, did her cousin drop it? Best return it! She scurried over to pick it up, realizing with a gasp at the sight of 'Yuri' that this was about that patient just now!
