Dr. Faustus's fate

When Hannah awoke, she found herself not in her own body temporarily, but in someone else's. It was clear she was going to experience the **** of this soul.

"Are you sure you'll be there for the operation?"

"I don't know. Lately, my mouthpiece had been acting up."

"So why don't you just call up a doctor?"

"Perhaps. Anyway, good day to you!"

As Faustus hung up, he went into his bathroom and looked in the mirror. To his horror, he had noticed that a large red clot was on his face and discovered that his bear trap, though changed, had a bit of a flaw involving the grating.

"Oh God, no!!!"

He attempted to remove it, hoping to wash his face or perhaps put some antibiotics on it. Unfortunately, despite these attempts, they proved to be fruitless.

Before long, the clot overwhelmed him, collapsing to the ground. Some of his neighbors had heard his screams and called 911 to send him to a hospital, where, because of an infection, he died.

Everything went black again, and this time, Hannah had returned to her physical body. She got up but also discovered that she had an axe in her hands.

Finally, standing before her was Dr. Faustus, who had been brandishing his scalpel and giving her a malicious grin.
