With her hand on the door you know you are trapped, there is no way you can overpower this girl. You back up and take in the surroundings of the room. The room is rather small lit by a single hanging light in the center of the room. There is another door labeled boiler room in the very back. Random boxes and equipment are scattered around the room in a surprisingly unorganized fashion. That’s when it hits you like a kick in the nuts. Could she be scared of the dark? You quickly turn around and grab a random piece of equipment and chuck it at the light, it shatters, and the room is bathed in utter darkness. The only way for any light to get in now would be if she opened the door. Just then you hear the boiler rumble from the other room, doing its daily automatic adjustments no doubt. While you know this, the girl shrieks at the noise and quickly opens the door. Sadly for her, the door's position in the room only allows for a very small part of it to be illuminated allowing you to hide in the darkness. Of course you scare her even more when you trip over a box and land onto a bunch of old music equipment. That was all it took for her to bolt up the stairs. After a few minutes pass you hesitantly make your way out of the room, scared for what might await at the top. As you look back you think about the mess you made down in the basement, and wonder if the girl might tell someone it was you.

Thankfully when you make it to the top of the stairs classes had just let out and the halls were crowded with people. You make your way through the crowd wondering where you should hide next when you feel a hand grab your back.
