Chapter 11 by styxmaster styxmaster

What's next?

Doug's first day at priest school and it isn't how he thought it would go.

You shift nervously while you wait. You can't really believe you managed to join the priesthood so easily, without much issue.

There had been an interview, a questioning as to who you was and you want to join the priesthood, but after telling them that you had to leave home due to family-issues they were very understanding. They let you join with little fuss, and even arranged for you to be taken to where you'd go through the seminar.

The woman did warn you that if you agreed, and you had to take a number of vows to officially join, you had to complete at least the first portion of the seminar, which took four years at minimum, unless circumstances such as serious heath-problems came up. Quitting halfway was...difficult, she had explained, and it would be a lot of work, so you should be sure you wanted this.

You were sure, and so you were brought to a church where you had to swear to number of things, half of which were in Latin, then they organized a bus that you could take. There had been a few other boys and men in the bus, some more entered during the drive, but finally they had stopped in front of what had looked like a castle.

They'd explained that this place was chosen for its remoteness, there was literally not even a hunter's cabin for a hundred miles around, and that despite its appearance it did have all necessary luxuries such as electricity and running water. Then they'd let the men out and told them to wait in a lobby.

You'd been surprised to find that the monastery, at least you guessed the castle served as such, had nuns, more nuns that priests, but there were probably seminars for female priests, and the castle was big enough to house two separate seminars.

Then they'd called them into a large hall, telling you boys to line up on the left, while a larger number of girls lined up on the right. There had been a welcoming-speech, you had to speak a few more latin verses including the one you came here for: The vow of chastity. The head-nun, a very stern-looking woman, had made it clear that all vows were to be taken seriously, and breaking any of them would be harshly punished. Then the boys and girls had been separated, you and the others brought into a smaller hall where you were told you'd wait to be sorted into your rooms.

The nun manning the ancient-looking computer had told them that by tradition the girls would be sent to their rooms first, then half an hour after the last girl the boys would be assigned their rooms. You thought it made sense, and reduced the risk of running into a horny girl if you got lost.

After what felt like forever they started calling the boys by name, each one of you going up to the nun, having a short talk with her, and then being told where their room was. Since you hadn't given your last name, you were told they'd have you filed as 'Douglas Zero' until you felt comfortable sharing your real name. And since the list was alphabetical, you're pretty much the last one to be called.

“Vickery, Harvey.” The last other man in the room, a tall guy in his thirties, stands up and has a short talk with the nun at the computer. Then, finally...

“Zero, Douglas.” It's finally time for you. You walk up to the nun.

“Here, sister.”

The woman looks at you. “Zero, huh? Oh well, not my business. You're assigned to room 3127 on the third floor.” She hands you a piece of paper with your floor-, room-number and the name of the one responsible for the corridor you'll be in, Sister Angeline. “You're sharing your room with two others and there will be no room-swapping, so do your best to get along, you're stuck with each other for the foreseeable future. Any questions?”

You pause. “Um, just wondering, those vows of chastity I took, are they already permanent?”

The nun looks at you. “Second thoughts boy?” Before you can deny, she continues “The vows of non-procreation you took are not permanent, not yet. They cover the duration of the seminar, should you find that a priest's life isn't your thing after all, then you can go on your way afterwards and aren't bound by them. Should you become a priest you will take permanent ones, although depending on the circumstances you can petition to be released from them in regards to a wife should you marry.”

“But for the duration of the seminar they're binding, and everyone has to respect that, right?” You ask.

A nod. “Of course, and the girls are also informed of that.” The nun seems to have a gleam in her eye for a moment, but it's gone before you're sure you really saw it.

You smile. “Great. 3127 you said?”

“Up the stairs and then to the left. You can't miss it, the number's engraved on the door.”

-

The stairs weren't hard to climb, even if you are a bit out of breath. Your room was a bit more difficult to find, but now you're standing in front of it. 3127 is engraved into a bronze-plate on the wooden door. For a moment you consider knocking, you are after all the last, but then again this is your room from now on, so you decide to just go ahead and enter, you have every right to be here after all.

You open the door... and freeze.

The room actually looks pretty nice. Large windows, though it's too dark by now to see anything, carpeted floor, a door that, if the sounds of running water are any indication leads to a bathroom, three closets on one wall and three beds on the other side.

And sitting on one of the beds is a young woman around twenty. Her hair is almost crimson-red and has a wet sheen to it, her green eyes locking with yours. She's wearing a fluffy bathrobe that strains to hold her at least D-cups and has a very large tent at hip-level. Judging by its size she's roughly as big as your grandmother.

You blush. “S-sorry, I must have gotten lost. Can you tell me where the boy's side is?”

She stares at you.
