Door 75

I gave a brief sigh and shrug and just went for door 75, I opened it up walked into the darkness and closed the door behind me. I heard the lock click into place as the light started to build, and there before me like every other time was a table, a key and a door. I smiled this was too easy, soon I would living it up in the highlife free of worry, drowning in cash and women with every comfort I could want. I used the key ands walked through the door, the next room was not a hall but a small circular room with five different doors, I was the first one through so I moved to behind the line and waited. Slowly four others made there way in and joined me, instead of a voice over the radio, the wolf and the panther stood before us in their party finery. The wolf gave a giant grin, "so party guest, you are the final five and almost to receiving one of three great rewards", the panther spoke almost perfectly synced with his last word, "this is the last round to decide the winner, and it is a very special round". The wolf nodded and picked up where she had stopped, "behind us is five doors, instead of rushing and picking you will takes turns, and every door will be selected" he said. "That means if the first one up picks the correct door, none of you will know it" she added, " whoever is last gets the last door and has to be lucky" the wolf finished.

"This means whoever goes first has the most options, but also the highest chance of failure, and we already know who will be going first" the panther said with a gleam in her eye. "That would be you" said the wolf pointing directly at me, "you were the first in, so you get first pick" he finished with a smile. My heart was beating rapidly, a one in five chance of failure this late in felt almost unfair, but I could not tell them that. "Come on forward little rabbit, go ahead and pick your door" said the panther, slowly and shakily I stepped forward, past out loom two host to the five doors behind them. They too where number, 100,101,102,103,104, I swallowed looking over all my choices, I was going to lose here wasn't I? "Take your time, we have all night if you wish" the wolf said with a slight chuckle, but there was really no reason to delay. No matter what I did I had to pick a door, and If I was lucky it would be the door that would lead me to a better life. With a deep breathe I took my chances and went for the door I thought was the correct one.
