Elle seriously considered it for a moment, but eventually she took a breath. "I'm naked," she said slowly. "I really don't want to let you in."

"Naked?" Jane asked in shock. "Someone said something about your underwear, but they didn't say naked."

"They were wrong," Elle lied slightly. "I need some help, could you maybe find me some clothes?"

There was a long silence on the other side of the door. "So you're completely naked?" she asked cautiously.

"Yes," Elle practically spat out. "Please, just go and buy me some clothes, I promise I'll pay you back."
