Although Sam's morality is screaming at him that something isn't right here, he knows that it's wrong to interfere with a domestic dispute like this. Judging by the kids Mike and Emma have obviously been together for decades so it can't all be bad.
"Well.... if you change you mind." Is all Sam can bring himself to say as he heads back out into the corridor closing the door behind him.
Taking a deep breath he heads for the stairs, and as soon as he steps into the front room he spots Mike, Lauren, Phina, Shelly and James all sat around the table, Mike glaring in his direction.
"You took your damn time." Mike says, "You didn't start bothering my wife did you?"
Now there's a dangerous question.
