Don't Lose Hope! Never Lose Faith!

You and your team are running through the forest. The goal is to reach the area Satoru's team was sent to by morning. There is an awkward silence between you and the girls. Known of them know what to say to try and comfort you.

TenTen finally walks next to you and says, "John, I'm really sorry about this whole thing. I know how much your father means to you. But, you have to be ready for the worst".

"I know, I know. I went through the mental training just like you and the others. I know that one of rules of the Shinobi is no attachments. But, this is my dad we're talking about. He wouldn't abandon me like that. He's still alive TenTen, I can feel it", you respond to her.

"Baka, will you stop repeating yourself. I get it, you think your dad is alive. This is almost as annoying as your Ninja Way thing", Ino groans.

"Ino don't say something like to John!", Sakura yells.

"Well I'm right! Just because you think or believe something doesn't make it true. I believed that I would be John's girlfriend by now. But instead this bitch with a weapons fetish is his girlfriend instead", Ino complains.

"What did you just say?!?!", TenTen yells as she pulls out a kunia knife.

"See! Can't even go one minute without pulling out a weapon!", Ino laughs.

You chuckle, "Ino, you are right".

"John, I don't have a weapon fetish!!!", TenTen yells at you with a blush on her face.

"I meant, Ino was right about thinking or believing in something. It's not always true. But, I know for a complete fact he is alive!", you say giving Ino a thumbs up.

"Baka...", Ino mutters before smiling softly and blushing, "how can you always be so positive?"

"John I promise that I'll try my hardest to help you find your dad!", Sakura says with a small blush on her face.

You smile, "Thanks Sakura. I appreciate the fact that you all are here to help me out".

"Of course I'd help you John. What kind of girlfriend wouldn't be there for her boyfriend", TenTen says before she gives you a kiss on the cheek.

Sakura and Ino immediately glare at her.

"Once this is over, we are kicking her ass. Agreed?", Ino asks Sakura.

"Agreed", Sakura responds.

Kakashi has been father up ahead from you and the girls. He suddenly comes to a stop as he reaches a clearing.

"My god....", he says with his eye widen.

"Kakashi_sensei, what's wrong? Why did you stop?", you say as you run up to him.

Once you reach him, you come to a stop as you see the horrific sight that is the forest clearing.

"N-No way", you say quietly.

There is blood stained on the ground and on the sides of trees. Blood stained shurikens and kunia knifes everywhere. One tree is completely destroyed by an explosion of some kind. Worst of all, in the center of the clearing are three Leaf headbands with blood all over them.

"TenTen, help me examine the area!", Kakashi yells to his second in command.

"Right away Kakashi-Sensei!", TenTen says, though she is a little hesitant to leave your side. She walks into the clearing with Kakashi.

You slowly follow them into the clearing, eyes widen as you see the bloody battle field.

Sakura and Ino stare at you, as you look at the battlefield. Sakura starts walking up to you but Ino puts her hand on Sakura's shoulder and shakes her head.

As you are walking through the clearing, you hear something crunch up. You look down and move your feet back. You then see that you stopped on a what seems like a crunched up small piece of paper. You pick it up and unfold it, only to find that it's not paper, it's a photo.

"I-It can't be", you mutter.

It's your father's good luck charm. He brings it with him on every single mission as a reminder of what he is fighting for. Its a picture of you as a baby being held by your mother.

"Dad......", you whisper as to begin to cry.

All eyes turn to you. Your team doesn't know what to say to comfort you.

But suddenly you all hear a voice say, "Man, capturing these Leaf Ninja was a lot harder than I thought".

You look around and try to figure out where the voice is coming from.

"Our master should have a much easier time infiltrating Leaf Village thanks to these Leaf Ninja", another voice chuckles.

"Everyone, remain calm and silent we don't know who we are dealing with", Kakashi whispers.

But you don't listen, instead you put the photo into your pocket and run out of clearing.

"Give me back my Dad!", you yell as you jump out of the clearing, ready to face this unknown threat.
