Chapter 7

Which one should I choose?
Dominate
Dominate is my ticket out of everything that's been bugging me. This skill is invaluable, even more so if I level it up. I crack my eyes open to check on Lily, only to find that she isn't there. My eyes shoot open and look around. There she is! On her way to the door, Lily has apparently lost her patience and is leaving me behind. I walk after her, careful not to run and cause a scene. She opens the door, and I speed up just enough to catch it as she leaves. Once outside, I tap her on the elbow (I can't reach her shoulder) to get her attention and she turns around. Her expression is the same as it was, no judgement, incredibly patient expression. Clearly she isn't truly feeling that patient or she wouldn't have bailed on me like that. She turns back around and keeps walking.
"Lily! Where are you going?" I ask a bit more desperately than I intended.
"Back to my inn sir." she says nonchalantly, like she isn't ditching me. Suddenly, an idea hits me. This could be an opportunity.
"Can I come with you?" I ask hesitantly, knowing that it's a request she would never accept normally, to invite a stranger she just met back to her room. She thinks about it for a moment. I'd rather not have to use Dominate here, I only have one use worth of MP left and I don't want to waste it on this.
"Sure, sir." she says just as casually as before. After I put her under tutor she's been really hard to understand. Hopefully, that'll fix itself if I level it up. Speaking of I really need to level something up. Whatever, I'll wait until we get to her in room at the very least.
She guides me to her room. We walk in silence, though its hard to tell how she feels, because she still has that blank super-casual look on her face. I'm a bit nervous about using my powers like this. Is it really ok to just circumvent someone's will so casually? Just because its a fantasy of mine doesn't mean it's ok. Also, my parents must be getting a bit worried about me. I've been out far longer than I should have at this point. My thoughts are getting jumbled at this point, and the glances I keep taking at Lily's towering tits aren't helping. I'm still alert enough to realize that we've reached her inn as she walks up to the door and opens without saying anything. Several eyes swivel towards us as we enter, and only some return to their business. I can feel the burning gazes as me and Lily walk up together, towards the room upstairs. She pulls out a key and opens the door, opens it and lets go, as if she were the only one there. She's definitely aware of me being there, but her behavior has been really odd ever since I cast the spell on her. She sits down on a chair in front of a desk in the corner of the room. She flips open a book and pulls out a quill from an inkwell next to it. I get a little closer to see what the book is. A diary! Now this would be good, though is it really a good use of Dominate? I wonder if I can convince her to show it to me without having to use a spell. Speaking of, I really want to see how these spells upgrade.
Upgrade Skills:
Head Start (MAX)
Acquire Skill I (2 Skill Points) --> Acquire Skill II (Cost: 150 MP): The user gains intermediate knowledge of a skill that a tutee wishes to learn. Requires at least one tutee.
Tutor I (1 Skill Point) --> Tutor II (Cost: 10 MP): The quintessential ability of a tutor. The user forms a tutoring contract with a tutee, granting the following benefits:
1. The tutor gains experience points relative to the growth of their tutee. (If a tutee gains a level, the tutor will gain a level, no matter the difference in level-up requirements.)
2. Tutees will improve 25% faster in all areas when taught by a tutor.
3. Weak mental magic will be applied to the tutee in order to facilitate understanding and willingness to be tutored, as well as increase respect for tutor. (Ignores all resistances and immunities)
Warning: Tutoring contract cannot be created without consent from both parties.
Authority (5 Skill Points) --> Royal Authority: The user emits a powerful aura of authority, causing others to respect, trust, and submit to the user much more easily.
Endless Education (MAX)
Delegation (MAX)
Dominate I (3 Skill Points) --> Dominate II (Cost: 100 MP): Suppress the will of a target. Target will immediately change their mind about their most recent vocal decision. Warning: This does not work on an unspoken decision. The final decision will be whatever the target considers the opposite of the original decision. Warning: How they feel about the decision will change to how they feel about the final decision.
This is even better than I could have hoped! Upgrading Dominate is relatively cheap, and even just Dominate II lets me get her to say yes to something she said no to. Even if I can't get her to like it yet, the appearance of that second warning might mean that I can! Now I just have to see if I should splurge and spend all my points now, or save some just in case I get even better Skills later.
How to spend points?
