Join The Watch For The Rest Of The Day

"I'll link up with Mindy for the rest of the day, that okay?" You asked Scott,

"That's actually fantastic, Me and Andy can go through all this and log it that way we know exactly what we have. Here take this and head up to the roof." Scott said and handed you a bolt action rifle,

You took the rifle and thanked him. Just as you walked out Andy surprisingly stopped you and said thanks for the help. You shook hands with him and walked out feeling pretty confident in your first day so far. You climbed up the ladder and walked over to Mindy who was sitting on a small fold out beach chair. "Hey Mindy." You said with a wave,

"Hey there Garrett, What brings you up here?" Mindy asked looking at you warmly,

"Just got back from the police station run. Offered to take Scott's spot for watch." You said walked over her and sitting down in the beach chair right next to her,

"Oh, how'd that go?" Mindy asked looking around the streets below,

"Really well, We got two duffel bags full of guns and ammo. Andy and Scott are cataloging it all now, probably take them awhile." You replied,

"Great we really need the ammo. Anyway our little watch is simple enough. All we got to do is rotate around the roof every ten minutes or so." Mindy explained,

"Sounds simple, I think I can handle that." You said,

"Good, be nice to have someone to talk to." Mindy said with a smile. You and Mindy stayed on watch for hours splitting to other sides of the building and making small talk between each other. After three hours you noticed Mindy humming a song you recognized, "Is that Queen?" You asked,

"Huh? Oh yeah they were my favorite band. I listened to their shit all the time, to be honest I think that's the thing I miss most. I miss being able to listen to music all the time." Mindy explained to you,

"Yeah I miss that too, I was big into Queen and music like that as well." You said with a smile,

"Really! Oh god what was your favorite song? Mine was...." Mindy started off on a tangent about music completely thrilled to find someone with her taste. Hours past as she jumped from one point to the next but you hardly noticed as you were completely enveloped by Mindy. Not only did your thoughts on almost every topic agree you also noticed her looks. She had beautiful almond eyes that looked at you sweetly every so often. Her hair would every so often blow in front of her eyes which she would part behind her ears. Hell she even took the time, in this crisis, to wear make-up. Not that it really mattered because she had a natural beauty, you still thought that was interesting how she hung onto the norms of old society.

You also couldn't deny the rest of her body. Her breasts weren't huge rather they were small maybe B's or C's still it fit her perfectly. As for the rest of her body it was quite slender you couldn't help but trace her form and see the arch in her back that helped show off her ass. It was quite prominent for a woman her size and while you tried to not stare you couldn't help yourself, whenever she would walk away or turn away from you you'd look down and eye it thoughtfully.

It was around the last hour of watch when your inability to look away finally caught up with you, "Are you checking me out?" Mindy asked you suddenly,

"What? N-no, I'm not checking you out." You said quickly,

"Oh come on Garrett, you've been checking out my ass all day." Mindy said crossing her arms and looking at you with a smirk. Your face went red and you weren't exactly sure how to respond to that, "I'm not mad that's just what guys do but we are on watch you know for attackers." She added,

"Right sorry, I wasn't trying to-I mean I wasn't going to....You just look so....nice...." You said rubbing your neck awkwardly,

Mindy let out a small giggle, "Aren't you a suave one. One day and you're already putting the moves on me." You diverted your eyes again and shifted awkwardly causing Mindy to laugh yet again, "Oh I see your one of those guys."

"What guys?" You asked confused,

"The ones who enjoy a show, you know like to watch but than clam up when the girl tries to talk to them about it." Mindy said as she stepped forward, "I'm right aren't I Garrett, you could stare at me all day but you wouldn't know what to do with me if you had the chance." She said almost challengingly.
