Chapter 26 by NewWriter14752

The next day

Dirigent's office

The next day has come.

As Veronica walked through the halls, she saw a group of her classmates huddled together, giggling and whispering. She felt a sudden pang of anxiety, wondering if they had somehow found out about what had happened the previous day. She quickly brushed off the thought, telling herself that she was just being paranoid.

She was glad that so far no one had found out about her streaking the previous day. She had managed to escape without any repercussions, and she felt grateful for that.

But as she turned the corner, she saw a figure standing in front of her that made her heart drop. It was the Dirigent, the strict and passionate conductor of the music academy, and he was waving her over to his office.

"Veronica, I need to see you in my office," he said, his voice stern and commanding. "Right now."

Veronica's mind raced as she tried to come up with an excuse to avoid the Dirigent's office. But she knew it was useless. She had no choice but to follow him to his office, her heart pounding in her chest with every step she took.

The Dirigent gestured for Veronica to take a seat in front of his desk, and she obliged, her hands clasped nervously in her lap.

"Veronica," he began, folding his hands on the desk in front of him. "You have been practicing exceptionally well lately. Your dedication and passion for the flute are truly inspiring. And because of that, I'm giving you the solo part at the upcoming concert."

Veronica was thrilled that she had been given the solo part for the upcoming concert, but she also realized that she would be fully exposed to the entire audience. Standing in the center of the stage, with hundreds of eyes on her, would be a nerve-wracking experience.

"Are you sure about this, sir?" Veronica asked, trying to hide her anxiety. "I mean, won't it be a bit too revealing for me to perform the solo naked?"

The Dirigent's expression remained impassive, and he leaned forward, his piercing blue eyes fixed on Veronica. "It was your idea to perform naked in the first place," he said, his voice low and menacing. "And I respected your wish. If you are not up to the task, I'm kicking you out of the orchestra."

Veronica swallowed hard, her throat dry as sandpaper. "O-okay," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I-I'll do it."

The Dirigent nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Good," he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "There's one more thing, though."

Veronica's heart sank as she braced herself for the worst.

What's next?
