Chapter 82 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

Oh boy

Dinner's ready

"So...?"

Miranda raised her eye at Viola. "So?"

"So so?"

"So so what?" She chuckled with Viola shaking her head.

"Hey girls, dinner is ready. Get it while it's hot." Robin called out, a wide grin on his face as he set out the plates. Viola and Miranda both leaped out from the couch after pausing the game, still focused onto their own little private chat before sitting down. Robin kept smiling at the sight of them getting along, unaware that at some point they stopped talking and began staring.

"Dad? Dad!"

"Huh, what-what's happening?" He stuttered, blinking and doing a double take.

Miranda and Viola were left giggling at the poor guy seemingly confused at the situation. "Oh dear, I think he was stuck in the moment."

"Yea, Dad does that sometimes. It's weird, he does it a lot with Lauren."

"I think it's cute." Viola admitted.

"Gross, have you seen dad?"

"Hey..." He began to say before she continued, ignoring him.

"I mean look at that gut, plus he's pretty old. Pretty sure he'll start graying soon."

"Easy now, I'm right here. Gosh, feelings. I raised you better then this." He shook his head, sitting down with a reassuring smile. "Alright then, bon appetit."

Alright so what has he made for us tonight? Viola scooted forward before picking up her utensils and looking down at her plate. "Oh, enchiladas?"

"Yup!" Both father and daughter nodded before Miranda quipped in. "Plan on using a knife and fork for that? Fancy."

Viola frowned before blushing in embarrassment, dropping them and taking a bite. Robin kept his eyes on her, rather curious to her reaction as if she were some sort of food critic.

"How is it?"

"Pretty bland huh?" Miranda added.

Robin frowned when Viola swallowed her bite and smiled. "It is awful, the worst."

"Ha! Score!" She yelped, lifting a hand up for a high five. Giggling and enjoying the moment, Viola gave in and accepted the gesture. Turning back to face him, she noticed he seemed genuinely happy with how things were going between his two favorite girls, and the look of content in his face made her blush and eat quietly.

"So, Viola. You're our neighbor right, the apartment next door?" She nodded, chewing her food. "Gosh, that building is like so pressed tightly against ours, I feel like if we get an earthquake it'll collapse and turn us into pancakes."

"It is... ridiculously pressed together, yea." Viola agreed, thinking to how their proximity is, in a way what began this whole relationship. Did I just say relationship? EEEEEEEEEE!

"You know speaking of, where's your sister shouldn't she be home by now?" Robin asked.

Just in time, the door knob turned and pushed open interrupting dinner for the three of them.

Who is it?
