Chapter 113 by brevdravis brevdravis

Quick Change before breakfast

Did that just... happen?

Robin's mind was still a whirl of thoughts as he finished scrabbling together some semblance of an outfit. A quick rub at his chin made him realize that he really did need a shave today, and he hurriedly took care of it, while constantly taking the moment to glance at both Lauren and Viola across the way. It had been wonderful, everything coming together so nicely. The thought of that brought a momentary mental note to ask Viola if she was actually on the pill or not. Not doing that in the past had led to... well, two wonderful young daughters who had just banged their way out of the house.

A quick shave and morning business complete, Robin was delighted when Viola returned to the room the exact same way she had come, and the soft clunks of her feet against the carpet made Robin momentarily wince...

"What?" Viola asked, noting the distressed look on Robin's face.

"No, it's cool, just... old reaction. Shoes in the house. Old girlfriend. Long boring story, and you're hungry right?" Robin swiftly changed the subject, grabbing up a handful of beaded strands, and neatly bending down to wrap them around each ankle.

"Ok, I... I have to ask now. What's with the uh... beads?" Viola asked, happily dressed in the t-shirt she had earlier appropriated from Robin, as well as a pair of jeans and a nice pair of running shoes, which were CLEAN dammit!

"I made em," Lauren happily purred, running a brush through her hair and looking out of the bathroom. "You want one?"

"That's it?" Viola looked at Robin questioningly. That just seemed too sweet.

"Well, yeah... plus they fit just loosely enough so that when I'm doing extended sit ups I know how far to raise my hips. I can show you if you really want when we're on the first floor."

"Why the first... Oh right." Viola nodded, immediately thinking of upstairs neighbors in sitcoms. Too goofy. Total Dad now, it seemed. She liked it. Once it was clear that the bedroom times were over, he seemed to have switched to paternal caregiver. If she didn't know any better, she'd have sworn that he was treating her exactly like one of his daughters, and she was loving it. ACK! NO! Not that word! Like! She really liked it! It was fun to have somebody looking out for you for a change...

"So... looks like you two are ready," Viola noted the finishing touches, as Robin slipped what looked like a... wait, was that a "Pip Boy" wallet? "Ah-HA! I caught you! You DO like video game merch!" She chirped with a grin.

"This was a gift from Titania," Robin fired back, before pulling her into a quick hug. It was nice actually, Viola reflected, as his arms came around her. Her thighs came together tightly, and the soft feel of him still lingering inside her brought a little illicit thrill. "And busted. Just find it easier not to advertise my dorkiness more than I already do."

"Ok, out... out the door," Lauren pushed the intertwined couple towards the door. "I'm hungry, and I will break speed limits if you make me wait any longer."

"Shotgun..." Viola grinned against Robin's chest before leaning her head up to receive a quick but quite pleasant peck on the lips from him.

She soon found herself in the passenger seat of a small suburban which was tightly packed between two other cars, one of them parked mostly on the grass, and it had been an annoyingly tight fit for her to get in. It had been even worse for Lauren, and the litany of angry words that she mumbled as Robin directed her out of the spot were a bit jarring.

"Uh... does this happen a lot?" Viola asked, tightening the seat belt about herself.

"Too often," Lauren sighed. "I envy you guys with those labeled parking spots. His landlord's shit, and Robin is too scared of getting CPS called on him to do anything about it."

Viola looked back over her shoulder as the large man as he waved his arms carefully directing Lauren's driving.

"But the girls are over eighteen..." She objected.

"Yeah, but ingrained habits of fourteen years are hard to break. He's getting better, but, a couple years ago we had some issues. And we broke up." Lauren said matter of factly as the back door opened.

"Yeah, that was a shit time, agreed." Robin commented slamming the back door shut and replacing the small overhead handle that popped off halfway in response to the action.

"There there baby, he didn't mean you..." Lauren caressed the dashboard, and then turned the wheel, beginning to drive down the residential street away from the apartments. "I'm thinking... Blutos?"

"You ALWAYS want to go to Blutos" Robin smiled, "But sure... Vee, you feel like lots of food, and old people who will completely ignore us?"

This sounds intriguing
