Diaper Aisle

Alexa stared at the diaper section with widened eyes. “Mom… please. You can’t,” Alexa said.

“You’ve wet the bed twice already,” Helen said. “We need to start doing something to protect the sheets.”

“P-please. Mom. I’m telling you. I don’t need those,” Alexa said. “If someone found out…”

Her mom ignored her as she reached for a package of night time pull ups and plopped them inside. They had little blue bears on them along with stars and moons. Helen added baby powder and baby wipes as well.

“Mom…” Alexa whimpered. “Please.”

Finally they headed for the checkout. Alexa hoped they could just get everything over with.
