Department of Paranormal Activities

Jodie was pulled away from her bed and lifted off the ground by a thick black mass of smoke. Grabbing onto her ankle, the black smoke dragged and flung her around her bedroom. Jodie let ou a scream that was heard by her Parents, who rushed to her room, almost breaking the door down.

Once inside, they discover the room was in total disarray, and they see Jodie in the corner of the room crying. Susan leans in close and finds scratches all around Jodie's wrists and ankles.

"My god, what happened?" Susan asked Jodie holding back tears of her own.

Scared, tired, and crying hard. Jodie could only mutter one word.

"Monsters."

The following day was quiet. Susan told Jodie that they were going to the Hospital for a quick check up. Jodie hated going to see the Doctors. The last time she had a check up she was handled like a baby. The Nurses looked at Jodie by the usual inspections, then they dug their fingers in every fold and hole to make sure her body was clean. The worse part was being held up by the Nurses naked while they played airplane with her. Sure, she laughed because what child wouldn't be ticklish. Then the Doctor came in and places a needle in her bottom! Jodie cried the entire afternoon after that, and vowed to never again go to any Hospital.

The building they arrived at was not the Hospital Jodie remembered. It was huge with it's own neighborhood. Susan parked in front of the front door of the building, holding Jodie'shand as they walked in. Jodie had a feeling of dread and abandonment.
