Defend yourself!

You quickly try to find something to fight her with. She takes this opportunity to lunge at you, but you avoid it by jumping backwards, tripping up, and rolling over the coffee table to the other side. You didn't mean that to happen, but it looked rather cool! You take a mental note that if you ever make an action film you'll make someone do this. Martha looks disappointed, but she's not about to let her toy escape. She moves around the table, blocking your way back to that side of the room. You frantically look for a weapon, and the only thing in reach that could work is a small statue of 'The Thinker', which you pick up.

She lunges at you again, but this time you're ready for her, swinging the stature in an arc that smashes into the side of her head. She falls to the floor like a sack of bricks, rolling a few times, but like a cat she is on all fours by the end of it. She leaps into the air, knocking you to the floor, both of you in a mortal struggle as she tries with all her might to bite you, the only thing in the way is your knee against her chest as your hands are busy holding her hands back. With a might push you turn the tables, flinging her to the side. You pin her down and begin smashing her head in with the statue, each strike causing her to twitch less and less until eventually her head is a pulpy mess and she remains still.

You stand up, taking deep breaths, adrenaline still pumping through your veins. You lean against the wall, dropping the statue on the ground. You clutch your face in terror. You've never harmed anyone like this before in your life! The pink mist continues to cloud your mind. You gotta get out of here! You exit the apartment as fast as you can, but you freeze dead in your tracks outside. Seems your struggle attracted some downstairs neighbours.

You struggle, but it's futile. Thankfully you pass out before you feel any major pain.
