Chapter 3
by Tabularasa2213
Does Samuel join the nude swimmer or recoil from this stranger's invitation?
Decline the offer
Samuel would have to be a fool to pass up such an offer, yet something in the way she was looking at him didn't sit right. Easing himself back and away from the pool, he shook his head slightly, "Thank you for the offer, but I don't want to intrude. I'll umm, I'll just be on my way," wiping the last beads of water from his chin with the back of his hand.
The woman's smile fell for a moment, but quickly returned with a colder glint to it. "Oh, there's no need to be skittish stranger," she said as she drew closer to the water's edge. As she rose from the water, she revealed a toned and taught abdomen and curving sides. "You seem nervous, but I promisssse," she said as she slid out of the water, "I won't bite. Too hard."
Coming forward onto the wet stones, her hips gave way to a long serpentine tail that disappeared back into the water. Samuel backed up in terror as he stared at this strange cross between a woman and snake. Her pale soft skin transitioned to black hardened scales as she slithered towards him with a casual slowness, water running down her body.
Samuel continued to back away, brushing branches and ferns away from him as he tried to keep his distance. "What are you?" he screamed, eyes wide with terror. The woman creature threw back her head and laughed, chest shaking droplets of water from her nipples. "Why, I am Eve, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she said, pressing the palm of her hand to her chest, like some mockery of a dignified lady. "If you find it overwhelming, you're welcome to focus on my upper half," she ran her nailed finger between her rounded and perky breasts, teasingly lurid, "whatever keeps you preoccupied, little one."
Realizing he was staring and had let her get close, he hoped backward and broke off a branch to use as a club. "Stay back," he yelled, waving the thick branch in front of him. Eve pulled back back to rest on one loop of her coiled tail, glistening and wet, the end of which still was submerged beneath the water ten feet away. Her full red lips curled into a mocking smile, "Oh, you're so adorable." With a lunge, she snapped forward and swiped her nailed fingers across his cheek, leaving a sharp hot streaking cut beneath his eye. He swung at her, but Eve had already recoiled to the same position. She drew her fingers up and ran her tongue, long and forked, along them, tasting his blood. "Mmm, you taste delicious, stranger. I can't wait to have another bite."
She was fast, Samuel realized as a thin trickle of blood ran from his cut. Gripping the branch tighter, he backed away slowly, but keeping his attention focused on Eve, waiting for the next darting strike. She was toying with him, but her next strike might be deadly, so he had to be on guard and ready to move just as quickly. His eyes followed her pale white eyes, almost without any color at all, looking for a sign of when she'd next strike. There must be some sign of when she'd lunge as his eyes darted over her body for any indication of tensing to strike. Eve's steely smile grew slightly more sumptuous as she noted how closely he was watching her. With a deep breath, she slowly began to twist and flex her sinuous body. At the first shift, Samuel tensed, pulling back the branch to swing, but when it was clear that Eve wasn't about to strike, he returned to slowly pacing away from her, branch between them.
A slow shimmying sway began to work from the serpentine portion of her body, up her hips at the point when scale and skin met. This sway continued, up her flexed abs, over ribs and rolling to her shoulders, causing her breasts to bounce and jiggle as they swayed. Eve let out a hushed chuckle, swaying forward, hand flicking out and nails clicking against the end of Samuel's branch, before rolling her wrist back and returning to her body to sway. Samuel gave a swing, but it was clear that strike wasn't intended to hit. "Yes, watch me. Closely, little mouse," she teased with a throaty chuckle as she returned to her shifting, swaying motion. "You don't want to let your guard down. Because that's when," she gave a dip of her shoulder, "I," abs flexing as she rolled to the other side, "might," he watched as her breasts bounced in response. So tantalizing, so easy to stare at.... "Strike!" He twisted back, every muscle taut and ready only to find that Eve had simply criss-crossed her hands in front of her, nails glinting in the afternoon sun.
Samuel felt an unease as his muscles began to ache, the adrenaline was starting to wear on him. Standing on pins and needles waiting for the next strike to come, he could feel sweat beading on his brow as he followed her motion back and forth. Rubbing the sweat clear with the side of his arm, Samuel realized that he wasn't stepping back quite as much as he'd been before. Eve wasn't closing the gap, but they'd only traveled fifty feet from the pool. Something was wrong. Staying on guard, watching her every motion was seemed to be doing exactly what Eve wanted, but could he risk looking away? He had to find an opening soon or take his chances and make a run for it.
Does he keep his focus on Eve or run for it?
