Decline and dismiss them

"Sorry, not interested", you say indifferently. The twins somehow seem not what they pretend to be. Their behaviour is way too calculating to your taste. They act submissively for the moment, but you are sure that it's just a ploy.

Lara reacts surprised for the blink of a moment. You see her eyes widening, as if she's not used to being rejected at all. But just for a moment. Then she seems to have herself under control again.

"Maybe another time?", she coos.

"Perhaps", you shrug and glance at her sister Trisha, whose smile has turned sour. She eyes you up and down for a moment and apparently tries to judge if you decline simply because you don't have enough money, or if it's possibly true that you are not falling for their charms.

Then she turns away with a kind of you-don't-know-what-you're-missing attitude and beckons her sister to follow. As the two girls walk away, you wonder indeed for a brief moment what you might have missed.

Then again - you have a feeling that this was not your last encounter with those two. Despite the story they told you, you are fairly certain that they will make it through the gate and into the next part of the party.
