“The Bitch knows.”

Ben noticed that something was wrong almost immediately. He confronted me the moment the Sisters left. He was always too perceptive for his own good. Lying here would do me no good.

“About the app?”, he asked.

“She hasn't figured that one out yet. But she knows that I have some way of controlling you.”

Ben didn't reply to that.

“Ben...do you think i'm abusing you?”

“I..”

“I aren't right? I mean even if we look at everything that has happened objectively. The Zoo was just supposed to be a bit of harmless fun. It was those Bitches who...”

“Don't talk about them like that.”

I was surprised to hear Ben interrupt me. Frankly it hurt. “Fine, but we agree on the **** part, right? I mean, you know that I am holding myself back, right? I haven't even used the App on you all week. Today was only because they showed up.”

Ben finally sighed. “Yes, don't worry. I do not think you abused me.”

I needed those words. Relieved, I exhaled. “Thank you, I mean it.”

“What are you planning to do now?”

And there it was, the question I was dreading. “At first I thought about erasing their memories, but that won't work will it? Too much time has passed. They may have talked to other people about this. Doing this could backfire badly.”

“Yes, I agree.”

“Next, I was thinking about having you explain it to them, but I don't see that working either. They will just think that I am somehow controlling you.”

“Maybe you don't need to do anything?”

I raised an eyebrow. “What?”

“They don't have any proof, even if they get the police involved. The idea of a magic app is laughable, as long as I deny all of it, nothing will come of it.”

I paused. Did I maybe overthink all of it?
