As described the plot of Dead estate is of a mansion filled with undead and various other threats, that a wide variety of playable characters find themselves stuck in and must fight their way through; using a growing number of reality bending perks and items empowering them, as they uncover secrets and defeat powerful bosses through multiple levels, while a hulking monstrosity prowls after any who stay behind to long.

Levels/lite plot+bosses

SPOILER moderate

The first floor is of course the Ground floor, a sophisticated and classy wood paneled areas; showcasing a traditionally mansion, which however is filled with various undead and even slime-like clot balls, moles and worms. Here the player learns about the moving between rooms and a few special ones; like cordelia's shop for buying items, chest rooms for random free ones ,secret rooms are heavily hidden yet are filled with randoms gifts, a clinic for stat boosts and a weapon room with of course a free weapon, but most interestingly is the Key room which opens the way to the next boss; once the player finds the boss door, and a challenge rooms where a player can be challenged to slay an amount of enemies quickly to gain a item as a reward. The potential bosses of the first floor are the Ultraclot; which is a large grouping of clots that bounce around releasing smaller ones, and in a similar manner is the Queen infester; seemingly a hybrid of moles and insects that charges around and sending it's spawn to attack. after beating the boss an elevator can be used to go to the next floor, however a bonus elevator may appear for those interested in exploration.

The Upper floor has many of the same amenities as the ground floor but is distinctly more murky and ancient seeming like a stone mansion or castle; it is filled with various paranormal threats and more strikingly cultists. An addition added to this floor and beyond is the weapon's shop; where a sexy witch dressed as gangster sells arms to the the player, and as for all shops, if the player is in fact that sexy witch; than her mother takes over tending for their helpful guests. The potential bosses of the 2nd floors are either the Leviathan egg; a gigantic egg curved with runes, emanating a deadly torrents of blood and guarded by waves of cultists, and the other option is the Resident; a large ghost with a massive tear firing eye. Upon beating the boss there is yet another elevator to the next level as well as a bonus level; as remains true for the rest.

The Attic sanctum is the only remaining floor that somewhat resembles a house, despite also resembling the backstage of a theater or circus with curtains used heavily. This floor is filled with advanced cultists and strange oddities such as a business man leaping around like a frog, rabbits and trees stomping down through the ceiling. Other than the spikes shown throughout the other levels; new water based traps from fortune teller orbs are introduced. The bosses of this stage are as strange as the stage itself, with a clown known as 'Pierrot: THE FRAGILE FOOL' bouncing around on a large ball; using a bullshit aerial attack before the player pops their ball and causes their 2nd phase where they cry like a bitch so hard their tears do area of effect damage;( will be retroactively gender-bent and anally hate fucked for ruining so many of my playthroughs). . . and the other boss is simply a giant shrimp that jumps around and vomits; called the Nataleviathan.

The 2nd to last floor of a normal playthrough sheds light on some of the monster's as they delve through the Laboratory. As the name of the level suggests it is crawling with experimental abominations; often bursting out of glass pods, and cultists skilled enough to heal their allies. The traps of this floor are crushing spike from moving hydraulics and metal containers limiting mobility. One of the bosses of this stage is a true red slime, referred to as The Experiment, and significantly more sexy is Cybil a grim tan skinned babe of a cult priestess that may be found around the estate before and even after surviving her fight with the player.

At a mid point between the last floor of a normal playthrough is the Balcony; a place for regret filled players to dive off (keeping all their stats and items for stacking the growth of multiple playthroughs), and can find free items and coins to spend with a rain soaked witch for their, in this case, last additional items the last level. Before leaving the Balcony there is a large lock-box shaped like a coffin near the exit; that can't be easily unlocked.

The seemingly last level, is a bone filled corridor accurately labeling this mansion filled with the dead, Dead Estate. At the end of the corridor is a locked door that when **** begins self destruct features to deal with the intruder or simply follow its emergency protocol; during this lockdown the player is trapped for one final fight against their relentless mutant pursuer, Chunks; the large rodent like man with a amputated arm mutating farthing into powerful tentacle, against such shear bulk and a place coming down around you, a little magically gifted help is required to survive such a distortedly strange estate .

For those who persist for secrets and search around wherever possible, you may find out the reasoning behind such a place of conflict and distorted logic.
