Day 4: Helping out Fire & Ice

You take a day to recover from being worn out by Zatanna, but also to investigate the case. You track more leads for a few hours before taking a break from that.

As you walk down the corridor, you hear some excited yelling and talking from inside. You stop and approach the door.

Before you can figure out what to do, the Door suddenly slides open...

Inside is Fire and Ice, a pair of Superheroines with a checkered history in the Justice League.

Instead of their usual attire, however, the pair are dressed in, well, lingerie.

Fire is wearing a green bra and panties set with dangling gold on it, showing off her taut figure and Brazilian complexion.

Ice is wearing a white, see-through nightie (with no bra, it seems) and matching white panties. She looks innocent, but naughty.

"Just who we needed," Fire says, "Come in."

You nervously enter and the door closes. The two share this Room and rumors abound as to what happens some nights.

"So what's, um, going on," you say, trying to sound cool and confident right now.

"We're having an issue and we need a male opinion," Fire says, "We both want to impress a man in our life, but can't agree on how."

"I think that she's being a bit forward in that outfit," Ice says.

"While I think she's being a bit matronly in *that* outfit. What do you think?"

You do your best to sound straight and normal as you fumble through an explanation of how there are merits to being both forward (like Fire) and leaving some mystery (like Ice). They smile politely as you do so.

"He makes some good points," Ice says, "I'm sorry I yelled."

"Me too," Fire replies, "Us Latinas, you know."

"I have to ask. Who exactly is the lucky man?"
