Looking at the time, Cassandra realized that she wasn't going to get any sleep. The September sun was going to come up soon. Instead, she resigned herself to getting ready for King's Cross. Step one was to work on her appearance. She used some eyeliner and concealed a few spots to perfect her face. Turning to her clothes, She decided to change into her Hogwarts robes before she got on the train, after all she didn't have many muggle clothes to use. Flicking her wand to get her trunk to follow her and bringing her purse close, she felt ready for an early start for the day.

Leaving the Leaky Cauldron, she explored Diagon Alley in the early morning. It had an odd charm to it as the world woke up, and Harry had never appreciated it fully. Oh, well one needs to wake up eventually. While Cassandra would have preferred a cup of tea, she needed something stronger for a long day. She visited Madam Pudifoot's to receive a strong espresso with an energy potion brewed into it. Thanking Pudifoot gratefully, Cassandra set off for Charing Cross Tube station, using an appearance charm to avoid muggle attention.

Getting off at King's Cross station, Cassandra walked with her luggage through the muggle platforms until platform 9. Turning off, Cassandra was remarkably subtle in walking into the column for platform 9 and 3/4. She turned left to see the majestic Hogwarts Express being loaded. Dropping off her luggage, she wandered the platform before boarding.
