David takes Jessica for dinner at your restaurant

One night you are happily working your hostess shift at the Italian restaurant that you own, and while you were having a conversation in Italian with one of your employees you notice a young familiar couple walk hand in hand through the front door.

You stop your conversation mid sentence with your employee and greet the two warmly. "Ahh, table for two, yes?" you say in your loud soprano Italian accent. The young man nods his head and agrees, pondering why he and his girlfriend were able to be seated so quickly on such a busy night. "Right-a this way," you say smiling while grabbing a couple of menus while leading the young couple to a seat in the back. Even though there were already guests ahead of them on the waiting list, you've decided to seat these special guests right away, (its the least you could do.)

You sway into the dinning area with your heels clicking on the floor, and give them their menus while guiding them into their seats. "Nicoli while be your server tonight. Enjoy." you smile while staring at David who you notice blushes when his eyes momentarily darts at your cleavage.

You can tell he finds you very attractive even though you are eleven years his senior. You know this because at one point you were him, and he was you, way before that one night, all the way back in 2014, when you happened to stumble a little device called a costume pen that changed your lives forever. Of course, unlike you he can't remember anything about his old life of being you (Angelica) or of anything about a set of costume pens which made him David.

Though you can't believe its been over five years since you last saw the body you grew up in your first 18 years of life. Many details about his life has slipped from your memory long ago but you can still picture the night you became your true self all those years back. You even recognize your old girlfriend who was the one who gave you those pens, all those years back too. They are both heavier now though, probably being fresh out of college with their bachelors degrees and in their mid twenties.

You notice a pair of engagement rings on their fingers. "Ahh, so you did stay together." You think to yourself behind the hostess counter. You always wondered if you had stayed as David you'd still be together with Jessica, your original high school sweet heart.

But you only shrug a those thoughts, you don't regret becoming your true self, you have a dotting handsome husband and a beautiful one year old daughter now. You've moved out of your old upstairs apartment and have a lovely house in the suburbs.You are only in your mid thirties and you are still very slim, even after your pregnancy, due to your strict workout routine and for the fact you finally quit smoking after all those long years. You still also stay in touch with Hannah now and then over email, as she got a job on the east coast being a lovely nationwide news anchor. She was even the maid of honor at you and your husband's wedding a few years back.

You tend to the couple all night asking if they need anything, and even give them a free dessert on the house. When the couple get up to pay they both thank you, but you only smile and say "No, Thank you both!"
