David lives

Draxum sighed and held his hands up, looking sad at Necalli who smiled.

“Thank you…” Necalli said.

The Ambulance arrived and took Draxum, Gina and Necalli in.

Lindsey noticed David wasn't getting in.

“Why aren’t you getting in?“ she asked

“I’m sorry Lindsey, I can’t live like this not remembering who I am!” David replied.

“David!!”

“Lindsey….. Can we go back to your house?”

"We can do that after you get out the hospital. I promise I will help you remember. I already lost you once. I won't do it again. You have a second chance."

David sighed, "Fine!" David was rolled into another ambulance.

Later at No-Name Generic Hospital, Lindsey, Susan and Tom waited in the lobby to see if David was okay.

A nurse came to the three of them, holding a clipboard.

"How is David?" Lindsey asked worried.

"He's going to be okay."

"What about Gina?" Tom asked.

"It's hard to say. It doesn't look too good. Even if Gina does recover, she's likely to face charges for her crimes. Possibly a life sentence. Same with Dram and Nepali." The nurse obviously couldn't pronounce Draxum or Necalli.

"Good." Tom said.

Lindsey, Susan and Tom visited David. Lindsey felt a tear of joy.

"I'm glad you talked into getting into the ambulance," David said. "The doctor says it'll take time for my memory to return."

"Even if they don't... We can create more memories together." Lindsey said.

"I imagine the legal ramifications of coming back from the dead are going to be complicated."

"We'll work it out."
