Chapter 3 by Haybre Haybre

“Jordan Hightower. Truth or Dare?”

Dare

Jordan was shocked that he was the first of the group to be challenged, but recognized it as an opportunity to begin challenging others. All he had to do was complete his first dare. It seemed as if each of his Truths was a valuable resource and to be successful he would need to be frugal and strategic in his use of them. It was nearing night time before he had entered The Grounds and the boarding academy was fairly boring after dark. Therefore anything embarrassing he might have to do would be a lot less likely to have an audience.

“I dare you to steal a DD or larger brassiere from any woman on campus,” Weaver challenged, her lips betraying no emotion while her eyes directed a fierce and competitive glare at Jordan.

Before he could strategize or react, more information was given to him by the moderator. “There are three awards available for this particular challenge. Each has a benefit that directly correlates to the difficulty of the challenge. Any of these awards can be earned in any order or simultaneously during the challenge. There is no penalty for failure to earn the awards, only the round penalty if the challenge itself is refused or failed. These awards are as follows,” at which point three illuminated messages floated above the table.

Sneaky, Sneaky: Successfully steal the bra without being caught or identified by anyone.

Teacher’s Pet: Steal a brassiere owned by a faculty member of Thorsblood Academy.

Dainty Fingers: Steal a brassiere directly off of a woman’s bust.

This information added on so many different possibilities that were now running through Jordan’s head. What was worth it and what was not? His nagging competitive side wanted to go for the trifecta and start off the game ahead of everyone else. But that would require planning, skill, and no small amount of luck.

“You have until the morning to complete the challenge. The other three players may monitor your progress through the app on their phones, though any attempt to hinder, expose, or interfere with your completion of the challenge by them will result in a punishment far worse than any other punishment or refusal previously mentioned. Good luck.”

With that final message from the moderator, suddenly Jordan was standing in his room again. He was shocked to see that he was wearing the gym shorts and cutoff he had taken off to do the body scan. A quick glance at the app on his phone confirmed everything that had just taken place. The dare that Weaver had issued, the three challenges, and a countdown to 8 AM tomorrow morning were all neatly presented in the program’s well designed UI.

Jordan quickly got to work developing a battle plan. It was about 9 PM right now, meaning he had a few hours before anybody was going to be sleeping. He quickly printed off the profiles from the staff registry of any faculty he thought had DD’s or bigger. After doing some research and filtering out prospects based on obvious major hurtles, such as married women, distance learning professors, and other such obstacles, he had two solid faculty names to choose between. On the coed side he started working through girls he knew personally that had racks to qualify. He narrowed the coed side down to two girls who he thought would give him the best chance for completing his given task. That left him with four options that he was going to have to choose from, two teachers and two coeds. It just came down to how many awards he wanted to earn.

Does he take the risk or play it safe?
