Daphne is born

A few weeks after hearing about Clover and Miriam's trip, it was Sunday and you woke up early. As Rachel was still asleep you decided to prepare breakfast, but you realized that you were not without milk and went shopping.

When you were coming home, you heard Priscila calling you and when looking at her you saw her running towards you. Upon reaching you she said a little nervous "John, I need your help fast. It's Alissa, I think she went into labor, we need you to take us to the hospital with your car."

"It's all right. I'll just leave a message for Rachel to know what's going on when I wake up and stop the car in front of your house while you bring Alissa out." you said

Just like you said, you wrote a ticket for Rachel and left it stuck on the refrigerator door, got the car and went to the front of Priscila's house, where she was already waiting with Alissa. They got in the car and you left for the hospital. You were quick and in 10 minutes you were already in the hospital, where Alissa was quickly carried to the maternity hospital. You stayed in the waiting room with Priscilla while you waited for the child's birth.

In a few minutes his cellukar vibrated. It was Rachel who was calling and you answered.

"Hello dear, I just saw the note. Is everything okay with Alissa and the baby?" Rachel said

"Alissa is still in labor. We are still waiting for more news." you said

"OK. I will be waiting for news. Tell Priscila that I'm rooting for them." Rachel said

"I will say this to her." you said and hung up "It was Rachel. She read my note and called wishing luck." you said to Priscila

You just waited for a few more minutes until you heard a baby crying. "The baby is finally born, finally born." Priscila said happily

It was then that the nurse left carrying the baby and went towards you saying "Congratulations new dad, she is a totally healthy girl despite being born with something extra." she said

"I'm sorry but I am not the father of this child." you said

"So where's her dad?" the nurse asked

"I am her father. From what you said she is just like her father." Priscila said

"So you have that too?" the nurse asked

"Yes, I also have genitals of both sexes." Priscila said

"If so, then I already correct myself. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter." the nurse said handing the girl over to Priscila. Then the nurse guided Priscila to the room where Alissa was and, at Priscila's request, you were allowed to go along.

In the bedroom, Priscila arrived with Alissa, who took their daughter in her arms.

"Today is a very happy day Priscila because our daughter was finally born." Alissa said

"Have you decided what her name will be?" you asked

"Priscila can choose her name, she deserves this honor." Alissa said

"I have a good name for her. I believe that our daughter is the greatest proof of our victory over obstacles that we had to be able to be together, so I searched for some nine that means a victorious person and I found one that will be perfect. Our daughter will be called Daphne." Priscila said

"Daphne? This is a beautiful name." you said

"And it seems that she liked the name, see how she smiles." Alissa said

Seeing the three happy together, you remembered a detail about the day in question and commented "Now that I remember, Daphne was born exactly on Mother's Day."

"That's right, this is the best Mother's Day gift possible." Alissa said

At this point Alissa's parents arrived, so you decided it was best to let them have a family time.

"Rachel is waiting for the news, I'll tell her the news." you said

"Okay, spread the word, and thanks for your help." Priscila said and with a last wave you left the room and went home.
