Daniel stood at the door, pointing as his wrist, pretending there was a watch there. “Cutting it close buddy,” he said, laughing a little.

“Sorry Daniel, you could have gone in with out me,” he said, as they opened up the door to go inside, “Heard we have a sub today anyway, surely won’t be doing much work then.”

“Guess we’ll find out in a second,” Daniel replied.

The two had become close friends and Daniel too had benefited from Mark’s rise in social status. Being tightly associated with Mark, Daniel was able to make more friends with a higher popularity status than himself.

Along with that, Daniel had also found love over the summer holidays that had just passed. A blonde hair girl from a nearby college in Florida that he had met during the holidays. They had just become official, a week before the semester began.

“There’s a couple of free seats up the back near Ali,” Mark said, quickly moving towards the back of the classroom.

The former brunette beauty had since died her hair blonde. That beautiful new hair tied in a ponytail today.

“Tick tock, bit late boys,” she told them as they took the two spare seats next to her.

“Hey, still beat this substitute teacher here,” Mark said.

Ali and Mark had remained close friends as he began to date Winter. It was a little tense at first, especially considering the feelings that Ali has had for him in the past but time heals al wounds. Whether or not she was over him right now, there was no real way of knowing.

“Honestly, I think we should have just went to the library and did our own stuff, not like this sub is going to help us with anything,” Mark said. feeling like he couldn’t be bothered learning or anything.

“Heard she’s actually quite qualified in this subject,” Ali interjected, “Probably a lot better than Mr. Lowry.”

As they were speaking to each other, in walked the mystery substitute teacher. The moment the young girl in her late 20s walked into the door, Mark was thanking his lucky stars that he showed up to class today.

She was hot. Very, very hot.
