Curiosity wins

You should be more suspicious but you can't help but want to try it on.

You start off with the bottom half. You see some thigh plates and start off with them. They don't fit too badly and you manage to get them both on not too badly.

You move on to the boots next. These are more of a challenge. They don't seem quite the right size but they expand and sections shift apart as your pull them on. You spot some connections at the back and link the two parts together. This is looking pretty cool you think to yourself. You add the crotch and hip section as well. It seems wider than you need but again you can flex it a bit and get it in place, hooking it into the leg sections.

You look down at the other parts.

'Chest plate next I guess,' you say to yourself.

You pick it up and see some catches that allow you to split it into a back and front. It takes a little doing but after some assistance from the wall you manage to brace the back in the right place for long enough to line up some catches and get it held in place. Again, the fit isn't great, too tight over your stomach and too much room in the chest. You think that perhaps it will adjust itself once its all on as you make the connections to the lower half.

While it is taking some time you have to admit that this thing is looking pretty cool already. You can't wait to see what it's like with it all on.

You reach for the arm sections and slide them up you limbs. Again they need some stretching but you got them in place. The gloves were a particular challenge. The fingers themselves were too short and narrow for you to get into at first but as you tried they expanded as well. You could see through gaps in the gauntlets now and see your skin behind.

You turn to look at yourself in the mirror. As you look the suit up and down you can see the gaps in it where the parts don't quite fit together, your bare flesh peeking out between them. The rest of it just looks incredible. Everything is covered in smooth patterned metal, the joints easily flexing and moving as your test it out. You can't help but strike some poses and try and look threatening. You can't wait to show this off to your friends.

Lets try and fix those gaps then. You pick up the helmet and start putting it on.

'Dammit, tight again.' you loosen some connections and eventually manage to get it on. You make the final connection from the helmet to the rest of the suit and stand back watching yourself in the mirror through the eye holes waiting to see if it will do anything.
