Crisis in a Mirror

With his thinning hair, Jack had been trying to get used to seeing strands over the grate. What he saw this time was a mass of hairs too short to be from his head. Where could they be from? His pubes, his legs - his belly...his chest - his armpits!! There were some still there, but very noticeably fewer! Was he becoming as hair free as the women men love to caress!?! How smooth and silky had he become? How soft -

No!! He didn’t want to know! He couldn’t handle it! Later, maybe. Much later!

He bolted out of the tub, nearly tripped on its brim, but caught himself on the bathroom counter. There before him was the large mirror of the medicine cabinet. Was he tan! With his dark hair and eyes, he could have mistaken himself for someone of a mixed race. But losing his sense of whiteness wasn’t his real concern. - Was he was looking more like his sister?! Did he have softer, less sharp features than when he came into the bathroom?! Maybe! He checked his rising hairline. Was it a little lower? What if he shampooed it with the soap?

Why would he want to do that!? Because he didn’t want to become as bald as the men on both sides of his family! But wouldn’t that mean allowing himself to become more like a woman?!

Jack wasn’t used to thinking too hard about anything. He needed to get away from the pros, cons and doubts. He stumbled out of the bathroom and hurriedly dressed. His clothes fit. Everything was the same size. But everything he wore felt different. No: His skin felt his clothes differently.

Should he go back to the magic sex shop and demand something to remove this tan? If he did, he just might lose his nerve like he did the first time and end up coming out with something else - Something more emasculating! More feminizing. Something sensual against his skin he would find so sexy. Perhaps something someone else would find him sexy in, too. How many boyfriends had his sister had? The number of those who had dated him past two: None. Maybe, perhaps, possibly -
