Convinient stores

As the two of you walk silently, you look around. Empty cars littered the streets.

You would use them. Unfortunately, you're not good at hot wiring a vehicle. You did ask Marcy if she could do it, but she answered with a no.

"If I could, I would have already skeddaddle out of this damn city,"

Fair enough.

You observe the map with the phone you had found from one of the dead zombies. It's in tip-top condition, with just a little scratch on the screen. Nothing but a simple replacement couldn't fix. You did tried to call your parents with it.

Sadly, your family didn't respond. Which left you pondering.

"I hope they're ok," You could only pray. You didn't stay out of funk for too long at kept going. Survival first, then worry about your parents later.

Luckily it seems the satellite is still working.

"Let's go to the convenient store," You found one near two blocks.

"Really?! Oh yeah! Food!" You companion/servant cheers silently. It does lighten the mood a bit. Now you kinda want to fuck her when we get back.

Of course, getting there means hacking a few zombies. But thanks to your new weapon, it becomes less of a hassle. It only took around 15 minutes to get there.

You finally found what you're looking for. You're glad that the entrance wasn't not swarming with zombies. But nevertheless, it's still broken. You enter slowly, with Marcy following suit. The Shelves are still filled with food.

Great, it seems the electricity is still on. So some of the food that are on the fridge are still fresh. Though, tough luck on the ones that's on display, he could smell the rotten stench.

"If there's food that is still fresh. Take em, we don't want to waste any of the stuff here." You order Marcy. She agrees and took what interest her. Well it seems she wants meat so she is taking the preserved meat and place it in a plastic bag, guess you're cooking beef again.

You look around and wondered where are all the zombies?

"Wait, what is that banging?" You stop and listen, farther down you can hear banging. It's that where the zombie is? You look from the back door and see zombies crowding.

You call Marcy to put the storage on hold. The sound came from other side. You walk to the back door and take a look from the window, there you see a bunch of zombies trying to claw away at a door of an empty building

You peek behind, curious as to why to why they're swarming. Mostly they chase like that when the saw a person(that wasn't a good time). So the obvious question would be is there a person there?

"What the zombies doing?" She whispers.

You shrug, "Who knows, maybe there someone in there?" You said, though even if there is, the question should be would you try to save them?
