How goes the week?
Controlled Chaos
I'm dating an evil genius.
Elise and I returned to the living room after Trish left and she laid out her plan. You see, I've convinced Rouge to go to the party in the same costume as Skye, that way she can get close to Trish without her finding out and find out how they both really feel... Well... Until Trish kind of made that pointless considering Elise forced a confession out of her. The trick is, Rouge doesn't know that, so she's going ahead with the plan anyway... That's where we come in. There's just one problem.
"We need to keep Skye distracted." Elise states thoughtfully. If Skye interrupts Trish and Rouge then everything's fucked, and we end up with major fallout on all sides... Not what we're looking to do.
"There's only three things I know that can occupy her. Vodka, Music, and girls... I'd imagine she's bringing vodka and there'll probably be music on anyway, don't really work as distractions." I ponder. "Guess that leaves... Women... But we don't have anyone who'd fit the role, everyone's coupled up."
Elise groans at my thought process. "Please don't tell me we need to have another threesome just to keep her occupied! I'm tired just thinking about it." She moans, leaning into me.
"Don't worry, that was a special occasion, you're all mine now." I reassure her, kissing her temple. Honestly, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered the option, but I think fucking one of my sisters' lovers is enough, two is a pattern, and not one I wish to explore. It'd be convenient though, and I know Skye wouldn't turn down a chance to be with two girls... Wait... Didn't she say...
I think I have an idea.
"I think my hair needs a touch up." I grin.
*
We enter the salon, we headed here straight after school, best not to hang around and let Rouge or Trish catch on, I don't enjoy sneaking around, but given all their secrecy around getting rid of Amanda, I feel vindicated in keeping quiet this time. Elise takes a seat in the waiting area while I enter the nearby stall to await a familiar face.
"Feels like only yesterday I made you up, need your roots doing?" Anya asks, entering the booth. She'd mentioned that she'd tried to convince Jessie to invite Skye into their bedroom at the party, I just need to find out what happened and remove any roadblocks. We chat and conversation inevitably flows to our weekend activities, I walk her through the day, and casually mention Trish's involvement the week prior. "Damn, I've never had a three-way but you make it sound like a dream." Anya responds.
"Didn't Skye mention you, her, and Jessie were gonna do it once?" I answer, my heart skipping a beat as we finally land on the right topic. "Why didn't you?"
"It's... A little complicated. Long story short, we realised both of us have... On occasion... Thought about Skye as more than a friend, and we couldn't do anything with her in case one of us... Well, you know, got too attached." She explains, choosing her words very carefully.
Huh, I didn't expect the issue to be that they're too fond of her, I guess that's something regular people worry about... Eh, normal's overrated.
"How does Skye feel?" I ask, prompting more information.
"I dunno, she's always said how much she cares about us, but I always figured it was in a friendly way." She replies hesitantly. I may be touching gold here, there's something to this, just a small glint of hope, just a teeny tiny chance...
Things could go even better than okay. I just need to play my cards right.
"Well, have you asked her?" I prod Anya, come on, I'm shaking the tree, give me fruit.
She's silent for a moment. "No, but let's say she has feelings for both of us too, what then? We're a three-person couple? Or if she only likes one of us, or neither? It's too complicated." She argues, but I can tell from her voice, it's not me she's trying to convince.
This can't be real, right? This is too perfect, this falls too neatly... Unless Skye isn't into them, then it's all shot... This is a gamble in an already big gamble, it sounds crazy, but for some reason I have faith in it. Or maybe I just realised that even if this doesn't work it'll keep Skye distracted enough anyway. Am I a monster? No, come on, this has to work out, opportunity like this doesn't appear for no reason.
"You know, after Elise and I kissed for the first time, I came here, and you gave me so much courage, things got rocky, but we definitely wouldn't be together if it weren't for you... Maybe you should have that same confidence in you and Jessie. We're all going to a Hallowe'en party this weekend, talk to her or don't, but I think you should consider it, you all deserve to be as happy as Elise makes me." I offer encouragingly. It's a long shot, but truthfully... I kind of want to help them work it out, sure being in a poly relationship is a new concept in my world, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve to come out of this with something good.
Wait.
Secret plans, solving people's problems, hiding my true intentions. Holy fuck. I've become Rouge.
"Thanks, I'll think about it." Anya acknowledges my efforts. I suppose that's all I can do. She finishes up and we finally exit the booth.
"Surprise!" Sings a joyful Elise as I step out. She looks cheerful, but something's different... Wait I see now! "Do you like it? It's in scarlet, so you're always with me!" She smiles, gesturing towards the shot of dark red hair that stands out from the rest of her onyx follicles. She got a red highlight... For me... I think I've fallen in love all over again.
I deliver a kiss to her lips and we pay for our treatments before exiting the salon, it didn't take as long as I thought, so we've still got some time, maybe we should visit Trish at work, pick up one or two things...
"Elise, I...." Begins a voice from behind us. I turn around, startled by the sudden sound, to face the culprit. It's a face I didn't expect to see, but I guess I should have considered it...
"What do you want Pa... William?" Elise growls at her father. He looks haggard, older, it looks like the last week has not been kind to him. Hearing his daughter use his name draws a wince from his sad expression
"I want to talk to you Elise." He says meekly, trying to look her in the eye.
"I want you to come home."
