You dress as warmly as possible with what little clothes you have and follow your new friend out the window. It?s a long jump, fifteen to twenty feet, and the ground is a little soggy, but you manage to tuck and roll like a stunt man, surprising yourself. As you stand up, you find you?ve twisted your ankle, but it doesn?t appear to be sprained. Not bad at all.

?Can you at least tell me your name?? you ask.

She shakes her head. ?I am afraid I cannot; I have to be sure of thine identity first. Let us try not to make much noise. Follow me.?

You sludge over rough land for a half mile or so before reaching town. The gates are locked, but she produces a key from her shirt pocket and sneaks you inside. Fartigue sets in as you spend forever winding through down, double backing to ensure you don?t get caught. Finally, you come up to what appears to be a tavern. She leads you in the back and down a set of stairs. Rapping on the door three times provides an answer, as the door flings open. Guiding you to sit down at a nearby table, you barely have time to survey your surroundings when a gentle looking man approaches from the shadows.
