You're not immediately sure how to react, as Heather has no measurable response. In a few seconds, she looks at you wide-eyed and says, "Oh, I'd love to!"

She then opens her arms wide as well, and you physically prepare for the meeting of your chests. Suddenly, however, her arms close in again, and she grabs your face into her hands, turning it to give you a kiss on the cheek.

"I'd love to, but I'm not sure how to," she admits. "I'm sorry."

"What you said was enough," you tell her, though you're aware that lying isn't good for your newest relationship.

"Perhaps," your new girlfriend offers. "It'd be best to spend some time separated. We're in love, of course, but this is new to us both. Besides, though you can't have too much of a good thing, absence makes the heart grow fonder."

You simply nod, not wanting your "new" relationship to turn competitive, and sure she has some reading to do.

"See you tomorrow?", you offer, throwing up your hands, after deciding this seems like a good amount of time for a break without completely pushing her away.

"See you tomorrow," she replies, relieving you by not attempting to come closer before the two of you temporarily separate.
