Continue experimenting with the App

With INF points that low, I can make her do just about anything, Derek mused as he looked at his phone, his mind struggling with the moral dilemma of what he could do versus what he should do. But is there a way for me to have her want to do these things? Rather than me making her do them? He wondered, pressing the Release button on his mother's profile, seeing an almost immediate change in her attitude as she stood there looking at him expectantly. Another button caught his eye then, determined to explore more about this mysterious app and to find out it's capabilities, Derek pressed the new button, curious to see what it did. The Relationships button brought up hundreds of names, seemingly everyone that his mother had ever met, and Derek took a couple of seconds to scroll through them curiously before moving back to the top of the list and finding his own name. Wonder what this does, he thought as he pressed his name, hundreds of stats scrolling by his eyes until he found the summary. Christ, this app categorizes everything, Derek mused as he shook his head, reading through the short stats that summarized his mother's relationship with him.

Well, this is interesting, Derek thought as he pressed the Attraction button, seeing a slider pop up. Sliding the arrow up about halfway, he moved on to Physical Attraction, sliding that about halfway before stopping, noticing that the Overall summary hadn't changed at all. I wonder it it has more to do with the Dominant Emotions, he thought, pressing that button. His eyes went wide as a new screen opened up, a large color wheel with emotions written on it.

Okay, let's see what this does, Derek wondered, dragging his finger across the color wheel, watching as his mother's emotions changed, names appearing and disappearing as his finger circled the wheel. So the dominant feeling is made up of hundreds of other emotions, he realized, watching as the color spectrum changed slightly as he moved his finger around the circle. The ones closer to the center are the more powerful ones, and the ones by the outer edges effect them. So if I have the primary emotion of Happy, a little excitement, and a little intrigue.... what does that get me? Derek wondered as he clicked done, the emotion screen closing and returning him to the summary page.

Looks like that did it, Derek concluded with a smile, glancing up at his mother, noticing the change in the way she was looking at him, the slightly playful way she was smiling at him. Might as well take advantage of this, he told himself, stepping closer to Jess. "Give me a kiss, Mom," Derek instructs her, wondering if his changes will really work.
