Context & Character Summaries For Danganronpa Noobs (DR2)

With the introduction of Akane and Peko in the most recent chapter of my current branch, I figured now would be a good time to provide bios on the girls from Danganronpa 2. No guarantees when any of these characters will show up, in my branch at least, but I figured it made sense to get this all written up now. This, obviously, contains spoilers for DR2, but really you shouldn't be reading this story at all if you're worried about spoilers at this point.

Ultimate Despair:

As part of Junko Enoshima's takeover of the world, she brainwashed and manipulated an entire class of Ultimates from Hope's Peak Academy into becoming her loyal and devoted followers, committing various atrocities in the name of despair. All students listed here (besides one, which I will specify), are members of Ultimate Despair, but their personality descriptions will reflect who they were before brainwashing... It'll make sense, trust me. :P

Akane Owari:

Ultimate Talent: Gymnast

Breast Size: F

Bio: Headstrong and impulsive, Akane is entirely motivated by simple, animalistic pleasures such as food and fighting strong opponents in physical confrontations. What Owari lacks in book-smarts she makes up for in strong gut instinct and incredible natural athletic ability that allows her to perform incredible feats effortlessly and with no prior training. Due to a somewhat chaotic home life, Akane is very casual about topics that others would see as socially unacceptable.

Peko Pekoyama:

Ultimate Talent: Swordswoman

Breast Size: D

Bio: Scouted by Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Swordswoman for her formidable kendo skills, Peko is in actuality a master bodyguard and assassin. Orphaned as an infant, Peko was taken in and raised as a killer by the Kuzuryuu Yakuza Clan, and assigned as protector to clan heir Fuyuhiko. Due to the clan's teachings, Pekoyama does not consider her own life to be of value, seeing herself only as a tool for her 'young master'.

Sonia Nevermind:

Ultimate Talent: Princess

Breast Size: C

Bio: Earnest and kind-hearted, Sonia is the heir to the vaguely-European Kingdom of Novoselic. Fascinated by Japanese culture and yet ignorant of much of it beyond what she's seen in manga and TV dramas, Sonia eagerly accepted her place at Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Princess, wishing to acquire more knowledge in order to be a wise and benevolent ruler to her people. Her other passions include true crime and the occult.

Mikan Tsumiki:

Ultimate Talent: Nurse

Breast Size: C

Bio: Coming from a background of frequent physical, verbal and sexual ****, Mikan has cripplingly low self-esteem, only finding value in herself when she can help others, hence her dedication to her role as the Ultimate Nurse. Likely due to the aforementioned ****, Tsumiki is hugely submissive and has developed fetishes revolving around humiliation and exhibitionism, constantly putting herself in situations where she can 'accidentally' expose herself in front of others and get off on the ensuing embarrassment.

Mahiru Koizumi:

Ultimate Talent: Photographer

Breast Size: A

Bio: Mahiru is diligent, hard-working and capable, and is passionate about photography. She has a harsh and bossy exterior, especially towards boys, but is a sweet and gentle soul deep down, loving nothing more than capturing photos of other people's smiles. Koizumi is fiercely protective of her friends, and of anyone she feels is being treated unfairly.

Ibuki Mioda:

Ultimate Talent: Musician

Breast Size: B

Bio: Hyperactive and free-spirited, Ibuki is not bound by social or logical conventions, preferring to act and speak based on pure emotion, resulting in incredibly erratic and unpredictable behaviour. An incredibly talented musician with a highly-tuned sense of hearing, Mioda was in the idol scene before breaking away from her group to pursue different musical styles, predominantly focused on screeching metal music.

Chiaki Nanami:

Ultimate Talent: Gamer

Breast Size: E

Bio: The only member of the class not to be part of Ultimate Despair, Chiaki actually only exists in a virtual world, the real Chiaki having died as part of Junko Enoshima's conquest of Hope's Peak. However, she's very much waifu material and pretty much everyone who writes DR smut just pretends she didn't die so she'll probably show up, who knows :P

Hiyoko Saionji:

Ultimate Talent: Traditional Dancer

Breast Size: C

Bio: Behind Hiyoko's elegant appearance and Ultimate Talent lies a cruel, sadistic young woman, who revels in bullying easy targets, such as Mikan Tsumiki. Underneath, however, Saionji is very insecure herself, and will often resort to tears when challenged for her behaviour.
